Quinnie's Kitchen and Strike Black: Beginner's Urban Foraging and Plant Walk
During this beginner’s plant walk in Atlanta's beautiful Westend Community. You will learn the names, medicinal and nutritive properties of plants and trees growing prolifically in lawns and public spaces. We will discuss the importance of native plants, ethical sustainable harvesting practices, and how to identify wild plants to increase food security. The walk concludes with a herbal tasting and medicine making hands on demonstration.
